~ gray cardboard box with Tilda patterns * ~ I had placed a long time all my sewing supplies such as yarns, ribbons, lace, zippers, etc. in a large hatbox. Most of it was sorted in bags. Logically, I always only had to clear out everything to get to something that I desperately needed and of course the bottom of the hat box was * g *.
Since I sew most like the living room, which seemed to me almost, because I had everything stowed away and there was not total chaos.
Well .... what to say. Now it has happened: the hat is no longer enough * lol *,
Since I still want to continue to sew in the living room and it is not always supposed to look after "the striking bombs", a new solution was long overdue.
I love the Tilda paper by Tone Finnanger. Some time ago I had so much to me and definitely buy two blocks in pinks and reds with scrap paper. As the paper then there was, I thought: Oh, ha ... really laid the good stuff. Whether that is well suited for obtaining gray cardboard?
Yes, it is:) I have tested it now and again dusted off and bookbinding glue lines and built a really stable after Buchbinderart box with hinged lid.
The beauty of Tilda blocks is that the individual sheets are combining well together. I would like now for my individual accessory areas are organized to build its own storage. My colorful ribbons I've freed from their bags and now they are housed in the following box:
you are by design kept simple. I think it looks better afterwards with many various boxes for all the accessories!
it will therefore, at intervals from time to time give more new boxes with a similar paper .... for the yarns, the top, the zipper ...
... and almost had I already forgot how much fun making chipboard works yet.
Oh yes, I used 3mm thick cardboard and the box really makes a strong impression - and on the table it looks nice and concluded it is not the pure Nähchaos:) Thank you for your interest! Have a nice evening:)
